Warranty Information and Registration
Please read this important information regarding your warrant.
IF YOUR CRYSTAL KAYAK or CRYSTAL BOARD HAS NOT BEEN WARRANTY REGISTERED, WE CAN NOT PROCESS A WARRANTY CLAIM. WE MUST HAVE A REGISTERED SERIAL NUMBER FOR PROOF OF PURCHASE.
IF YOU ARE REGISTERING A GENUINE CRYSTAL KAYAK or CRYSTAL KAYAK E-SERIES: The serial number is located on the back of the kayak. The serial number starts with "CKA". Do not include that in your registration -- numbers only.
IF YOU ARE REGISTERING A CRYSTAL BOARD: Your serial number is your purchase order number. This four-digit number can be found in your purchase email and on your invoice.

90-Day Warranty: Crystal Kayak E-Series
The manufacturer defect warranty covers workmanship and material on the Hull and Frame only. The warranty begins the day you receive your order and not the day you complete the warranty registration.
The warranty does not include user neglect and damages incurred, but not limited to transporting, dropping, dragging, loading, unloading, rocks, dock/launch, weather, water vessels or improper assembly or installation. Regular wear, scratches, discolor or blemishes are not covered. The warranty is void if the kayak frame or center bar have been removed, the rubber bumper surround is missing or the Crystal Kayak or Crystal Board logo and/or serial number have been removed.
To submit a Warranty Claim, please email us (sales@crystalkayak.com) and include your serial number, several images of the defect and a short video. In the video of a Crystal Kayak/E-Series, you must show the company logo and/or serial number located at the stern. In the video of a Crystal Board, you must show the company logo on the blue comfort standing pad. We also require a short, but detailed statement of how the defect occurred.
Your images, video and statement will be forward to the manufacturer to determine if the damage is a defect or user negligence. It is the manufacturer and not the Crystal Kayak Company that determines if the warranty is a defect or negligent.
Shipping/Freight is not included with a warranty claim. You will be required to cover the cost of shipping your replacement kayak/board. No Cost pickup is available at our warehouse.
If the damage to your Crystal Kayak/E-Series is a defect, we will send you a replacement hull and outer frame only. We will not send you a hardware kit, center bar, elastics and clips, paddles, seats, skeg or safety floats. You will use these items from the defective kayak for your replacement.
If the damage to your Crystal Board is a defect, we will send you a replacement board only. We will not send a paddle, fin or ankle leash. The comfort standing pad wear from regular use is not covered under the warranty.
Your defective kayak/board does not need to be shipped back to us, simply discard.
